Hi everyone! Meagan here. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little about me and what I do!

I have been baking since I was 10 years old. That is when first started to realize this is something that brings me so much joy. That is why, after spending two years in college working towards a nursing degree, I finally decided to drop out and pursue my true passion. At 22, I enrolled myself into Le Cordon Blue College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta, Georgia. There, I specialized in baking and patisserie. Although culinary school taught me A LOT, I still consider myself hugely self-taught. Many of my skills were developed through trial and error, and to this day I am adding more and more knowledge and skill to my tool box.

A little behind the idea of 'The Cake Room.' Located inside a cottage hand built by my father behind the main house, The Cake Room was originally a space where my grandfather lived during his later years. Since his passing, we have transformed the space into a family hangout area where much quality time is spent, and now into my very own home bakery! It truly is one big 'Cake Room!'

Here is where I make all of my made from scratch cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and delicious other desserts. Quality truly is key, and quality is what you can always expect from me.
